There’s something poetic about you randomly commenting this truthy-sounding rant on an article that it’s completely false about

There are some things we shouldn’t have to be told to do. Shared chores are one of them.

Not sure how true your example is, but that’s what the example sounded like it was about.

Sounds ripe for a meme about public indecency, which this isn’t

[–] alignedchaos 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Uh yea bro obviously. You don’t need to announce how your humor is on the level of a middle school bully, the post already made that clear

You posted the politician, not me.

My root comment isn’t about politics, it’s about the “joke” being fucked up and not funny.

The top comments on this post are VERY political.

If you want fun & funny then post something fun & funny next time.

Really not seeing how straight slut shaming does anything but make the problem worse, but go off

I’m mad about reducing public discourse about this toxic lawmaker, who poses a real threat to people’s health and bodily freedom, down to frivolous (and easily defensible) middle school bullshit

This meme makes no reference to any hypocrisy, it’s just “look at this adult woman who had SEX”

Cool seeing slut shaming be upvoted, really proving we’re above Boebert here

In addition to the wealth of experiences and opinions in this thread, it is worth reminding:

2 is a really small sample size

Did you miss where where the point of their comment was to deemphasize Whole Foods’ fault and culpability in this? Or are you starting a linguistics discussion?

Edit: in other words, they say “You should expect businesses to act this way” and I say otherwise

“Amazon is going to take advantage of whatever it thinks will make them more money.”

Yea I will in fact get mad at that kind of behavior. Lots of businesses doing it (and commenters like you normalizing it) doesn’t make them less responsible for their shitty behavior.
