I can happily confirm the granularity is not useless. I can definitely tell when my house is 73 and when it is 74. And I live where it is very hot. There is a very noticeable difference between like 89 and 91. The actual degrees of difference are pretty useful. The vast majority of terrestial weather also fits nicely into this very simple 0-100 typical range, and you can still easily summarize by describing weather in the 50's or the 80's, for example. It's just better imo.

Imperial is trash but, listen, Fahrenheit is the superior system for describing weather on Earth and I will die on this hill. 0 is very cold, 100 is very hot. Below or above either, respectively, is a very bad time.
Celsius is obviously superior for basically any other measurement of temperature, of course.
Just omit either "well" or "actually". Maybe swap both for "surprisingly" or "unfortunately" depending on the context of the correction. I understand the struggle :(
I think that's a fair argument though I would expect a civilization that advanced and widespread to have adopted standard measures of time. Which I previously would have assumed a "year" to mean something like a full solar orbit of coruscant. There's no reason for there not to be multiple standards, though, but it would be nice if that's what they were going for they didn't just say "year".
Looks great! What did you use to build this? I would love to reproduce something like this for my group.
I always assumed the green player character with the axe was a dwarf. My whole reality is ruined. Also, "chicken leg" lol
I always figured Fat Man's name was a double entendre for his appearance and a reference to the nuke dropped on Nagasaki. Fitting given he's an overweight explosives guy.
You know, the ping pong table being the correct answer is absolutely moronic but the explanation of the pay option is not inaccurate. I work with this data all the time and while pay is big, it's not the biggest reason, or even the reason for a majority. But again, it is certainly not behind "lack of ping pong table" as a reason people leave...
Oh hey, it's me. After a solid hiatus, I came back to the game just before Beyond Light but this season had to step away, possibly for good. For me, it wasn't just how terrible Lightfall was (and it is terrible). I don't even care about PvP being neglected, though that is a huge L for that crowd. For me it's just the hyper aggressive escalation of their monetization for the game. And frankly, I thank them for it because after Destiny 2, I'm adding "live service" to the list of criteria that make me dodge a game entirely. I'm not an ATM, I'm just here to enjoy a game.
I've got it purchased on Steam already, which will weird having played the franchise exclusively on Sony platforms prior. Just weathering the agonizing month until release. I am a pretty big fan of the older games, though, I think I stopped playing after either 4 or 4A. My favorites are definitely 2nd gen and 3.5 gen, with it being very difficult to nail down a particular game in that lineup.
The thing about AC which makes my love it is how layered it is and how much it can challenge you. You have a mission (or arena opponent) and need to come up with your plan to tackle it's objectives. This is in addition to strategizing and tinkering in the garage to fine tune the perfect setup. Then within the actual mission/arena you have the execution component - not just reacting and adapting to unfolding circumstances and opponent strategies but also the executing your inputs well, as AC has always been fairly demanding from an input stress perspective.
I'm mostly excited to have a return to the classic AC formula. Play a ruthless mercenary scraping by to get credits in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi dystopia. Go through missions with kitschy Metal Gear style dialogue in pursuit of more credits and better parts. Replay missions and NG+ to get access to even more parts. All while constantly honing, adapting, and super fine tuning builds.
There's really nothing like it, honestly. Probably will be my GotY.
That is precisely the point. It is the official position of the GOP to push all children toward private Christian schools. Step 1 of that plan is obviously to make public education so incredibly terrible that people start asking for better access to private schools.
All of the seemingly stupid things this governor does to screw with education are at face abhorrent but also serve only to damage the educational system in Florida.
