Funko pops are the modern lawn flamingo or garden gnome. They’re tainted things, too corporate to be kitschy, and far too uninteresting to be worth calling a knickknack. I instantly judge anyone who owns one for their future contribution to a far-off landfill.
Gullible
Tyler durden, Walter white, Rorschach, homelander, Travis bickle, Rick, Saul Goodman, Eren Yeager - people tend to idolize the most toxic characters. Serial killers get fan mail aplenty. Particularly weird when the character is a child, but I’m no longer surprised at what people are capable of pointing their admiration toward.
Pretty sure every single one since Tay has been fairly racist. They get around that fact in many modern AIs by forcing subject changes but it’s still fairly racist on the backend. Early “jailbreaking” proved as much.
It would be morally indefensible not to!
Oh shit, there’s a database of the easily influenced with expendable income?
Literally everyone knows that AI is racist. They did this while fully understanding and accepting the implications of their actions. Surely that should count toward a higher fine
All things considered, that’s incredibly recent. It’s essentially modern folklore, and that’s absolutely fascinating to me. Thank you!
Is there something behind this premise? I’m noticing it more and more lately, between Elden ring, ender lilies, assorted flesh and/or consciousness blobs in D&D, fullmetal alchemist, etc.. Have there always been stories about horrific amalgamations of humanity pulled together in a state between malignant rage and maddening existential horror? Or is this a recent thought?
To save anyone else the wiki trip
“Some authors consider the recipe for Aliter Dulcia (translated as 'Another sweet dish') included in the Apicius, a 1st-century CE Ancient Roman cuisine cookbook, "not very different" from modern French toast, although it does not involve eggs.[10][11]
In Le Viandier, culinary cookbook written around 1300, the French chef Guillaume Taillevent presented a recipe for tostées dorées[12] involving eggs and sugar.[13]”
I understand that, but I’m asking whether a .ml domain was chosen as a quirky little reference to communism? Like, I can start selling contacts on contacts.contact. I’m curious about the intent
As someone who essentially uses their mouth as a shoe, I feel your pain. Bright side, you won’t receive any more garbage of that specific variety!
