I’m so sick of people pretending we can consume our way out of this, it needs regulations and that’s the only way.

I think we should have a rule for news subs (maybe I should make a sub with the rule…):
It’s not news when it’s a controversial figure saying yet another controversial thing.
As in, we should have action oriented news, posting stuff that has actually happened, like laws being passed instead of someone saying we should have this law.
You joke but trebuchet memes were very popular at one point.
I’m not impressed until it can legally drive while it is snowing.
Driving in mostly hot regions on predefined paths is not that impressive.
But you know what fully automated system you could make in any weather? Trains.
NDP shouldn’t be the be all end all solution to Canadian politics. Voting for NDP moves the conversation left. If we had a couple of NDP wins, then we could talk about leftist policies more openly and even would inspire new parties further left than NDP.
Imo voting is about voting for a direction, not a perfect solution.
It’s a title, like village idiot.
That’s not how the law works, you get charged regardless if you’re dumb or smart if you break the law.
You might get a lighter sentence but stupid people doing crime is still crime.
