cross-posted from: https://www.reddit.com/user/StevenssND/comments/16l99g1/zelda_totk_v121_dfps_154beta3_60fps_static_mod/

u/P5DEV commented and reminded me in this post that DFPS 1.5.3 still worked if you used it along with the 60/30 Static FPS mod. So this means that once the 60/30 Static FPS mod is updated to 1.2.1 it should work too with DFPS 1.5.3.

So ... I decided to try it out today and verify it for myself due to I didn't believe it at first. Here's the gameplay: https://youtu.be/pbcQ3ikkuq0 PC Specs: Ryzen 5600, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM.

Here's part 2 (YouTube is so slow uploading + allowing HD videos + also I forgot the upload this before) and what I think is the real test: https://youtu.be/LBUAzDLiHe4 (Testing Kakariko + Hatano). You'll see slowdowns while building shaders + after building the shaders. These are one of the most demanding areas of the game. I also tested the Fire Temple but I always get higher than 40-45fps so I don't consider that area an area where I can test.

This gameplay is a test of Zelda TOTK in version 1.2.1 testing DFPS 1.5.4beta3 (in theory it should work until this version since from beta4 and the non-beta version some changes were introduced to the files: exefs + romfs folders were added that allowed to control the FPS limit so Static FPS mod was no longer needed). Btw: also DFPS v1.5.3 is working.

I have also tested it in Ryujinx (without recording) and I have obtained similar results even though in Ryujinx this game has always given me worse performance compared to Yuzu.

You can get DFPS 1.5.4beta3 here: https://pixeldrain.com/u/rejsRuVe

You can get DFPS 1.5.3 here: https://pixeldrain.com/u/HpvVWaNi

Rest of mods I used for this gameplay: https://pixeldrain.com/u/z8i5MaCY

So you have 2 alternatives:

  • Stay on 1.2.0 and continue using DFPS 1.5.5
  • or update to 1.2.1 and use DFPS 1.5.4beta3/DFPS 1.5.3 + Static FPS mod (an option that after testing I don't recommend).

IMO: I don't see a necessary reason to update to 1.2.1 so if you don't want to update, and if I were you I would stay on 1.2.0 or lower and use DFPS 1.5.5.

It's almost as if they completely lack self-awareness.

Do you seriously have to ask?

This post wasn't difficult to find.

Acting as if ending the war is Ukraine's responsibility, rather than one of the country engaging in a literal invasion.

Anyone who doesn't take the 2014 referendum with an extreme grain of salt is slotting nicely into Russia's current playbook.

I seriously don't understand why so many of you dickride Russia, other than "west bad". The current Russian government is antithetical to so many of the values you claim to champion.

Here's another for the road.

EDIT:

Numerous comments people claiming that the Maidan Revolution was actually a US backed coup, with zero evidence provided outside of Kremlin and state operated mouthpieces of course.

Possibly the most egregious yet: apparently the Bucha massacre was a hoax. Remember all those videos we saw of Russian soldiers gunning down unarmed civilians? Apparently they all must have been doctored, or were actually Ukrainian soldiers dressed up as Russian soldiers gunning down their own people.

One of my close friends is a Ukrainian photographer/videographer who was among the first on the scene after the Russians left Bucha. You've very likely seen some of his photos before. I can only imagine the rage he'd feel if he were to read some of the bullshit that these comments are attempting to spread.

Honestly, my opinion of HexBear has reached a new low after this thread. I used to be against defederation, but now I can at least understand why people don't want to be associated at all with your instance.

EDIT 2: This post was locally removed on HexBear. I think that says enough on its own.

I'm referring to the concerning number of users from your instance who seem obsessed with parroting what has been confirmed to be Kremlin propaganda and lies spread through deliberate misinformation campaigns. Obviously, this isn't all HexBear users, but you guys clearly have a general problem with this kind of stuff.

HexBear and brigading yet another Ukraine thread with misinformation and Kremlin propaganda, name a more iconic duo.

EDIT: It appears that I've triggered the horde.

...no? It honestly has more to do with ego than anything, and I say that as somebody who currently works in the game industry. It's shocking how out of touch some developers can be when it comes to delivering a product that the players want, especially when those developers hold actual positions of power over the rest of the team (directing and managerial roles).

Love my PineTime.

Pros: Cheap, open source, reliable, several days of battery life per charge

Cons: Limited feature set when compared to more expensive smart watches, unused hardware features (for now), painfully slow development cycle

Saw this deal over on Reddit and thought these looked pretty fresh. All sizes small through 2XL were in stock at the time of this posting.

AAV of $6.5 million. Not bad!

AFAIK, it's just a term for that kind of drone and the way it delivers its explosive payload. I've seen official outlets refer to them as suicide drones as well. Maybe Self-Destructing Drone would be a more proper term?

This is what I'm thinking. It's rather odd that they'd go after this mod specifically.

I would have preferred two touchpads, but the fact that they're including one already sets them leagues ahead of the rest of the Steam Deck's competition in the handheld PC market.

With how useful the touchpads are on the Steam Deck for navigating a desktop interface, I can't imagine using a device without them.
