But general focus isn't a specific legal term is it? Like what about gaming laptops? Isn't that the same thing? I haven't read the law so idk if it creates that specificity.

I mean what features are removed exactly? They have all the components needed to install windows/mac/linux and hook up a mouse and keyboard. I really don't see any distinction besides they come with gamepads and a gaming oriented OS instead of keyboards and a more general OS.

I suppose, but that's a different crime under a different statute Im guessing. (Tanking the company because gou have a scheduled sell, versus selling because you tanked the company.)

As said above, not a legal clause. So signing it is the smart thing to do -- you can just ignore it and unionize anyway if you want.

If the corporations are making record profits, that means theyre hiring, it means you can go work for a rival.

You don't need to be an empathetic holistic person to get behind free housing for the homeIess. If you're a truly selfish and purely economically oriented person, then you have to admit giving the homless free homes is economically the best solution for all involved. Alternatives include the taxpayer eating the cost of all the damage they do seeking shelter and survival, or paying a ton of money to police to violently deal with them.

If you prefer those to giving them housing, you're choosing options that are more cruel and more costly -- I don't understand how that makes sense and yet plenty of people seem to choose that.

Yeah they're going to drive down costs by having employees quit due to RTO 🤣

It's basically watered down meth. It's no joke! That said, it doesn't make me feel bad at all but everyone's different and it is a powerful drug.

You can still get it, you have to go to the pharmacy in the back and give your ID though. Limited to like 5 packs a month which is more than plenty unless you're making meth with it

Pseudoephedrine definitely works though right?

I think you could estimate by measuring change in subscriber numbers in each system. Maybe you need to measure the change in growth for each? Not a statistician so i cant say how, but i feel like you could get an estimate within a factor of 2?

I just don’t think it’s nefarious, just sheer incompetence.

Distinction without a difference.
