Maybe the PID is correct and someone installed the wrong sign at the station 🤔
Awww why this keeps happening? Can’t the station have a little beacon that tells the train where it is?
I don't know what the interface for the driver is when changing TDNs, but my current working theory is that they bumped it. The train was coming from Sunbury heading to flinders via the city loop and just after leaving Flagstaff the PID changed to "not in service", but we still stopped at Melbourne central. Then after Melbourne central it changed to be a flinders street train again, but coming from Flemington Racecourse. So when we stopped at Parliament it said we were arriving at the RC, and Flinders Street was north Melbourne
I thought perhaps the train was going out of service once we left the loop, or perhaps was going to the racecourse but it ended up going to upfield and yesterday wasn't a race day anyway
