Due to the lemmy.world hacking yesterday and their recommendation to reset our passwords just in case, I had to re-login to the app and now I am unable to see all of my subscriptions in the sub list. I have tried unsubbing and resubbing to some communities and they still don't show.

This has been an issue for me ever since I've attempted to try using Connect. Thunder has the same weird behavior of random subs not showing up.

I don't understand what the problem is because other apps like Voyager (wefwef) and Jerboa work perfectly fine.

I'm not sure what both Connect and Thunder are doing wrong that others arent.

It's not related to the hack because I was having the same issue before the hack. A cursory search reveals that a few other people had been having this issue, but there seems to be no meaningful response from anyone. Clearing app cache does nothing.

I started using connect literally ten minutes ago and couldn't get it to subscribe to communities. I ended up logging in in a web browser and it seems to work correctly now

This isn't really about subscribing from within the app. It's about having my already subscribed communities not showing in the subscription list. If I go to the community be searching it, it shows subscribed. It just doesn't show in the list anymore.
