MODERATORS

Over the past few days many admins have been stickying giant posts, which makes scrolling through Mlem a little rough.

Any plans to have a feed that truncates or completely hides the body of posts?

Perfect. Came here to post the very same, and I’m glad to see that it is planned. Really like the app so far, there’s significant improvements at each release.

Yes - one of the Mlem devs said that it was being worked on and should be in the beta soon

I can confirm this— it’s currently in our issue tracker. It’s also a very common request, so don’t worry; we’re working on it!

I bet the list of things you're not working on is longer :P

Ah I just commented this on one of the sticky posts too.

If an OP has written a suuuuper long post it means there’s lots of scrolling. Glad to see this is being worked on; thanks mlem devs!

You bet! This is one of our most requested features. There’s a big post overhaul coming down the pipeline soon–I just opened the pull request for it, so if all goes to plan that should hopefully be hitting the beta in the next build

I’m glad this is high on the docket. Was scrolling through newcommunities and got a sudden screen full of tarantula lol 😬
