1337x and TorrentGalaxy are similar but both are far off from RARBG in terms of new uploads/releases. Probably need to start looking into private torrent trackers if you need a better selection.

Someone recommended qbitorrent search plugins earlier, I gave it a try and was I was surprised how good it is

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Are there any search plugins in particular or is it just grab first one you see?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I just load in all I can find and it uses them all automatically.

The real question is a definitive list of qbt search plug-ins....

there is a github doc compilation of all magnet links off rarbg(can find the link to it in a torrentfreak article), which are largely still doing what theyre supposed to, tvshow torrents are tough though, i have gone over to streaming sites for it. yts .mx is solid for movie releases. ahoy matey!

"The RARBG" has an identical UI and looks to be a clone of RARBG

Idk if it's any good though, maybe someone knows more about it?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

AFAIK it mimic the old rarbg quite well, but since it's re-adding old contents it hard to tell what is new

Do you have a link? I can't find anything with that search term...

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If it’s what I think he’s talking about, it’s https://therarbg.com

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

I hope prowlarr Dev add it soon.

Theres 1337x, but otherwise I would look for a private tracker holding open signups.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I always hear this, but like... Where? How?

I can't think of a single (worthwhile) private tracker holding open signups.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm with you people say find a private tracker with open sign up and I have yet to find one.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

@stephfinitely @Magz @luckless @Wize_Hed They don't necessarily have to be open. I signed up to a private tracker by filling out a small application form, explaining who I am and why I want to join. They just want to keep authorities and lawyers out.

i use magnetdl.com, no ads or pop up nonsense

surprised nobody mentioned rutracker. Its my favorite torrent site. It has so much stuff on it. Only thing you need is translator. I really recommend it. For new movies/tv i use Torrentgalaxy

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

I have more success in torrentgalaxy than 1337 and kickass especially with newer releases in DV/HDR. Although the seed ratio is really bad compared to rarbg. Another one is YTS which is really good for old movies.

I still use the sql database with magnet links that someone scrapped from the old rarbg and a sql browser, but for new stuff i have to go to 1337x :(
