Tiny capsules, smaller astronauts... it's easier getting that lighter payload into orbit.
every dwarf you ever tossed, every elf tree you've ever pissed on, every ork you've orphaned are down there. just think about it.
I'm a bit doubtful of the plate tectonics that would produce this. But I guess once you allow rings with unlimited power the brakes are off.
The continent hosted a war between gods that destroyed a continent, who knows how that affected the geography of the neighbouring lands.
The One Ring also didn't have unlimited power. Gothmog, Sauron's master, did something similar with his own spirit, except he was so powerful he used the entirety of Middle-Earth as his "ring" instead. It's why the elves can't stay on Middle-Earth without waning.
Needs a photo where the satellite is tilted a bit towards the west, and you see Valinor just chilling in space out of reach for normal transport.
Sauron is not pleased and demands the perpetrators of this traitorous breach of national security be brought to justice immediately. He also denies the accuracy of the "fake map" circulating among the people.
