I have to say that although I'm enjoying #kbin so far, the moderator avatar of a man with a gun to his head and the Star Wars stormtrooper icon that's on nearly every page are making me reconsider spending my time here. What is the deal with those images?

Yeah, I see the profile image on the "owner" and "moderator" fields for magazines. The Imperial stormtrooper is at the bottom of the page, on mobile, with "Create your own instance".

I guess we can ask @ernest directly why these images are in use when they suggest... hostility. I'm sure this is an extremely busy time, though.

this ain't even busy. i wish you luck in contacting him before the next two days. a smidge of advice: do not enter or use kbin for the next 4 days as the panicked masses flood in. see you after the wave clears!
