Tommy Tuberville — the Alabama GOP senator who has single-handedly held up hundreds of Defense Department promotions over its abortion policy, impacting US military readiness — has parroted Russian propaganda by insisting Ukraine "can't win" the war against Moscow.

During an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Monday night, Tuberville highlighted how he has voted against US aid packages to Ukraine, but that it doesn't even matter how much funding the eastern European country gets because it has "no chance" of beating Russia in the war.

I don’t understand why they have not asked the DOJ to conduct an espionage act investigation on Tuberville. Holding up the appointment of leaders of the US military doesn’t seem like something someone acting in the interest of the US would do. Even if he is just being a cunt, telling him he’s under investigation for espionage and announcing so publicly, considering the death penalty is an allowable sentence for espionage, he will comply very quickly.

How did a former football coach turned politician bring this process to a halt? Someone has to be advising him, and even if it’s a domestic actor, they should be called out for it.

GOP Senator Tommy Tuberville is a clear and present danger to the USA. There, fixed the headline.

Is there anyone in the GOP that isn't a fucking Russian Shill?

Since they are all for sale to the highest bidder then no.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Not high bidders at all if they are taking Rubles!

I'm 100% positive there are some who aren't. Instead are just plain, boring old, traditional Russian assets.

I’m all for reasoned debate, avoiding ad hominem attacks, avoiding name calling, and just can’t avoid thinking Tommy Tatertown

The most important quality of our Alabama senator is that he was a football coach. You know, so he can dumb down the complicated world conflicts into dumb football talk. (Rolls eyes)

And football is the reason he is a senator. Shameful. I didn't vote for him.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago

He wasn't even a good football coach. If he was, he would still be coaching.

McConnell is now unreliable and Graham is paralyzed with fear he's about to be indicted or named in Georgia. Putin's running out of good mouthpieces still on the payroll. Tuberville doesn't seem to mind that his blocking of promotions just cost Alabama the Space Command headquarters and ceded a lot more military control to the executive branch. Hopefully his constituents will.

Edit: spelling

"Ceded", the same root word as "secession"

Is this a Dr Suess character that hasn't learned the book's lesson yet?

Tommy Tuberville. What a name. lol Fucking clown. Fuck the GOP.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

... and almost none of our useless corporate media calls him out on it.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

That’s a very direct headline, kind of refreshing.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

When are they going to decide which contestant in the GOP reality show is the stupidest? You think Tommy takes it hands down of course, but then you have people like Ron Johnson that make you question everything you thought you knew...
