“Today our ammunition depot was blown up, there were explosions from 3 a.m. until now,”

Ammunition warehouses were damaged as a result of a drone attack in the village of Olkhovatka, Voronezh region. Residents were prohibited from leaving their homes.

According to ASTRA sources, the attack was carried out at around 2:30 am on June 25 by 2 drones. Both UAVs hit the territory of a military unit on the street of the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol, 2 ammunition warehouses caught fire. According to ASTRA, more than 3 thousand shells were stored in warehouses. Detonation has occurred. The area around the military unit was cordoned off, and residents were advised not to leave their homes.

The governor of the Voronezh region wrote in the morning: “According to updated data, two municipalities were attacked by Ukraine last night. In the Olkhovatsky district, explosive objects detonated far from civilian buildings. No residents of the area were injured. Citizens living in the municipality were notified with a request to temporarily not leave their homes and, if possible, stay in rooms without windows. Residents were also given instructions to ensure their safety. Operational services are on the spot."

The attack was officially confirmed by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. “The operation was carried out by soldiers of the Active Actions Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. At night, a fire with detonation broke out on the sites with shells, the total area of which is 3,500 square meters, and is still ongoing. Considering the size of the warehouse, it looks like it will take a long time to explode,” the department said.
