I used my local library to read it and I’ve also saw the 1994 Brandon Lee film that I got on DVD.

James O’Barr did a good job pioneering his own comic series and making it into a franchise.

Brandon Lee is an underrated actor too.

I didn’t understand the film initially, but in hindsight I appreciated it more as a work.

Who else here read the comics?

And who else has seen the movies?

The 1994 film and its soundtrack had immense impacts on my development as a teenager and into adulthood. It remains one of my favorite films and I too own a collectors edition on DVD. Brandon Lee likely would have had an amazing career throughout the rest of the decade and beyond. His death is a tragedy but it also is a part of the legacy of the film.

I didn’t read the comic until a few years later, but I do own the graphic novel and try to read it each year. It’s also solid and very unique.

I haven’t seen any of the other films but am hopeful the new film this summer will be a good adaptation. The released image of the Crow character looks similar to how he was depicted in the comics.

I've hung out with James a few times. Friend of a friend. He was always interesting to talk to.
