Is the six month duration for already experienced pilots or new pilots? I'm assuming they won't just slap some new flier in the jet with four months but I've made poor assumptions before...

Ukraine usually sends experienced soldiers who have at least some knowledge of foreign language to train abroad. I don't think it's different for the pilots
I figured as much but didn't want to just assume outright.
