will be "positive" for the industry, Ubisoft says

Yeah because you know everyone is gonna be throwing their hate at rockstar and ignoring what ever dumb shit you'll be doing in mid 2025.

says Ubisoft

Yeah... The same company that says you should get used to not owning things and be happy to have subscriptions.

Does this mean we’re not getting GTA 5 single player DLC?

If you're still holding out hope for that, I've got a bridge to sell you.

Oh, the best! It's still under construction, so now's the time to get in before everyone else does.

Is it one of the bridges in the previous GTA games that prevents you from exploring the whole city until after you progress through the story enough? 🤔

Nah, this is a real bridge, a true investment opportunity for the discerning investor. Not something a game dev can just create when they want.

But I can sell you one of those bridges in the games if you want, but they're not going to be nearly as good of an investment opportunity.

Can I pay in cryptocurrency?

[–] sugar_in_your_tea 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Sure! Just let me know how much you have, and I'll work with you on a price.

I should have 10-15 dogecoin.

[–] sugar_in_your_tea 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

What are you expecting, a bridge for ants??

Let me know when you're serious about this investment. It's a mighty fine bridge, and I other interested investors.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I paid $13,000 USD for those dogecoins.

Elon said they’re going to be worth ten times that soon so your loss.

[–] sugar_in_your_tea 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

If I had time to wait for Doge coin to recover, I wouldn't be selling this bridge.

All my other investors want to see the bridge completed before making an offer. The bridge is fully paid for, I just ran out of money waiting for it to finish. It should only take a few more months, but I need cash now.

So it's up to you. Make me a decent offer or I'll find someone else who's interested.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Okay, I can do three dogecoins because I just gave the other twelve to a nice Nigerian prince who will use it to get his $7.5 million USD in gold out of escrow and give me half.

[–] sugar_in_your_tea 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

It's your loss. It sounds like you have a lot of good investments, so I don't know why you'd turn down another.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I’m offering you three dogecoin which is potentially worth billions of dollars but you’re not wanting it.

[–] sugar_in_your_tea 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Yup, I don't have the time to wait for Doge coin to appreciate. If I did, I'd keep my bridge.

They already made the single-player DLC, they just stuck it in GTA Online. If you join a private session, you can play a good chunk of it alone. Some missions unfortunately require at least two players, though, but it's better than nothing.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Ol’ hoss, when you need two players to play it, it isn’t single player.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago

Like I said, better than nothing.

Piecing this to what they've also said elsewhere, I'm just going to assume that GTA6 will be sold as a service.
