Hello there, I want to create again my home NAS server (older Pc with Ubuntu server). Right now I'm using RAID 1 with 2 purple WDs and with auto suspend after 1 hour of inactivity.

Question is: which color (version) of HDD to use? I figured out, that purple is not suitable for my use case because it should be used 24/7, and I turn on NAS about 3-5 times a week for couple of hours ( I use it mainly as backup storage)

I'm thinking about red, but it again isn't it designed for 24/7? Or perhaps go for some standard PC version with higher fault tolerance.
