I'm late to jump on the sffpc game because I just haven't actually needed to upgrade in a long time. Getting into it now, I'm a little late to the game and it seems like I've missed some good case opportunities. I'd really like to stick with lian li (my mid tower has done almost 20 years of good service), but I've got my heart set on a q58, and can't find one on the market anywhere.

Now I've come across a prebuilt q58, equipped with a gtx 3070 gpu, 5600X cpu, X470 board, and 16GB of ddr4 3200. From a seemingly reputable seller.

It's not quite the power I was planning, but it is about $500 cheaper than my planned GTX 4060, i5-13600, B760 build.

Worth spending the extra on current gen equipment? Is there enough of a benefit to warrent passing up a case I want and a $500 discount on a $1400 build? That and actually getting to call the build mine by rights.

I haven't upgraded for 7 or 8 years (maybe more?) now, so obviously either would be a huge improvement. Lead contender for an alternate case right now would be a Meshroom S.
