According to the telegram channel "Live: Ukraine":

⚡️⚡️Air Force explains why so many missiles flew to Lviv

"The enemy worked out a route using both the terrain and riverbeds, in this case the Dnipro. The missiles seemed to be flying towards Kyiv, but they turned sharply towards Lviv. They could have been intercepted by fighter jets. And some of the missiles were intercepted by fighter aircraft, but it was a very small part. An F-16 could have handled it," - emphasized Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat.

So Russia chooses to spend extra energy, intelligence and strategy to lob missiles at civilians. Just out of spite. It's just a disgusting culture nothing more.
