I don't live near a Micro Center, but will happen to be near the Westmont one during a trip soon. Is it worth stopping to buy parts? My concern is that if I have issues with any of the parts, I won't know until after I'm home and won't be able to return them to the store at that point because I live too far away.

Also, if I do buy parts, I have my eye on the 7700x bundle. However I'd prefer to do a Micro ATX build. Would I be able to swap or return just the motherboard?

Always. I take my kids when I go since they have all sorts of neat stuff. Mine had a giant keyboard (originally made for an NBA player but now on sale)
