I was at church camp, hanging out with someone who I thought was my cool new friend at the time. So I was comfortable swearing around him (for the first time in my life.) Some other younger kids were around and annoying us, so I tried on a new phrase "Shut up your shit!" One of the adults heard me and said something about not wanting to hear that kind of language again. I was ashamed until today. I feel better about it now for some reason.
