Yo, I'd be down to learn how to do that.
For me it was just copy pasting a lot of commands, I got to a graphical interface but the distro has too many places to choose and customize for my liking
Here's a Gentoo writeup with UEFI/ZFSBootmenu and ZFS for filesystem I made a while back: RAW
YMMV. I now just use Alpine instead as it's a lot less maintenance though: RAW
