I don't think whatever you were supposed to crosspost actually worked, but I know the context.

When you put things in those quotation marks, it means they are a quote. The mod removed a thread saying not to post opinion articles (which could have simply been an error but that's not what this post is about). This isn't the same as whatever you put in the title.
