Why? Why not?

I don't care about the ranks themselves, but I am tempted to give it a go and see if it results in better matchmaking than standard play.

I'm probably going to be splitting my time depending on how I'm feeling that particular day. I'm not going to be attempting ranked matches if I'm tired from sleep dep and feeling like I can't focus, but I am very interested in higher match quality and hopefully better matchmaking. I'm also very curious about how this experimental ranking algorithm will work, so I'll have to at least give it a go. If they've managed to alleviate the immediate negative emotions of instant -MMR after a loss then that would be huge.
