I've seen this guy a bunch of times before so I know the creativity is the point (which he's really good at) but I feel like the shoe in the first pic is probably more expensive than just buying the mask would be.
Very likely, but in my book re-using items that are already in the household definitely counts as low cost. Especially if you can use them for the original purpose again after the event.
That's the entire point of ghost face. They specifically bought a cheap mass market mask because they knew everyone would be wearing them
