Release Overview - Stable Versions

Keep in mind that the official changelog website is often behind actual release versions, the website is maintained by marketing people. Also note that not every single change/issue is mentioned in the release notes, because lots of changes are done in the background e.g. filter-list changes etc.

Basically I got tired of doing the same thing on Firefox for each computer so that the browser that is supposed to be private IS private (reconnect to the Firefox account, put back the user.js, get rid of Google etc...) knowing that, since I'm on iOS, the browser sucks (no ad blocking, poorly designed interface, etc...).

I knew there was Brave, but the sync function was too weird! Why not set up an account system??? But with this browser, everything is synchronized (even the search engine, except on mobile, but that's good enough), ads are blocked by default and my privacy is protected to the max. Thank you Brave!

yeah I hate to break it to you but if you want privacy brave is not the way to go, they have built in ads that rely on tracking you, not to mention is built off of chromium so it has all googles spyware.

they also are heavily invested in crypto scams, and they also have secretly put affiliate links in your urls so they make money off of you.

on top of that all the CEO is a bigot who donated money to anti minority and lgbtq causes and has spoken out against gay people in the past.

This article from The Verge says they only added affiliates to cryptocurrency links. The CEO has since apologized.
