Humans adapt very quickly to comfort, safety, and convenience.

I'm convinced that any human who could time travel from before, say, 1900 AD to today would, inside of two weeks, be a Starbucks-ordering YouTube-addicted meme lord.

One of the biggest issues with the Reddit API changes, and ultimately why RedReader and maybe a few other free 3rd party apps still exist, is because of screen readers and accessibility for blind users. And apparently a decent number of blind Redditors came to Lemmy over it (although I do wonder how good the Lemmy apps are for them?).
