As we get things off the ground, I encourage everybody to post anything and everything nascar related. For the time being, I'm not going to be stingy with posts as any content(within reason of course) is great for a growing sub. This can be anything from unique collectibles, race threads, weather threads, twitter(I am REALLY not good with Twitter--would love for somebody to post stuff from there), local racing, and anything in between. Try to comment on things as well, even if it's a few days old.

So, with the debacle that is reddit currently I decided to give lemmy a try. Curious if there will be weekly race threads here for everyone? I think the weekly race threads are fun, specially since I don't have any friends local that care about racing.

Hope we can get this sub rolling.

It will be weird seeing Jimmie in a Toyota, but glad he will get some more races in. This year has not been the best for his races, nor Legacy as a whole.

I like the idea of North Wilkesboro taking over for Spring Bristol. 20 years ago Bristol needed 2 races because of the demand, but not anymore.

Making the Bristol Night Race a once a season venue is a fantastic idea. It could be a crown jewel. An early season race at Wilkesboro is great too. Early season short track racing in the Carolinas is exactly what I envision when I think of nascar. Great move.
