Independent Mormonism includes those who identify with Mormon teachings and traditions but may not necessarily view Joseph Smith as a prophet or believe in the "golden Bible" narrative.
We are inspired by the teachings of Mormonism but don't necessarily accept all the more extraordinary claims of the Book of Mormon.
This community is dedicated to exploring and discussing the concept of Independent Mormonism, a movement that embraces the beliefs and practices of Mormonism outside the official structure of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).
Our community also strives to be inclusive and LGBTQ-friendly, welcoming those who seek a more open and accepting approach to faith.
