ApocalypticArt - where the remnants of humanity's past meet the promise of an uncertain future. This is the place for apocalyptic wastelands, remains of once-thriving metropolises and forgotten relics of a bygone era.

Always credit the original artist when creating a new post!

A good title format that's used on [email protected] is: Image title by Artists Name, so let's use that here, too.

Provide a link to the image source or the artists' gallery / social media account(s).

Posting your own work is allowed and encouraged, but please let the community breathe and don't spam.

Don't post AI-generated art, since the legal situation regarding ownership is very shady.

All artworks are copyright of the artists named in the posts. Artists gallery links may contain NSFW works.

Source: Jusant concepts (by Andrey Surnov - ArtStation)

In 2021-2023 I was lucky to work on Jusant as a concept artist. Excited to share some of artworks I did! I was working with great team on this project, people from different departments worked so hard on this. And final game looks awesome!

Source: Post Apocalyptic Street (by Antonio Figueiredo - ArtStation)

I got inspired to create this scene after playing the game The Last of Us, it’s an amazing game with awesome art style. I tried to capture the somber mood that the game has in this scene, making it feel like the street has been abandoned for years and humans are long gone, only remnants of their existence remain and nature is starting to consume them.

Personal piece. Just finished it now, but started in 2019. Maybe inspired by the books of Dmitry Glukhovsky

Artists’ YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYEFRhDuGZx89HLZQAhQL2A

Sadly, the version on the artists’ channel has been butchered by YouTube (end music removed). Here is the full version on a different channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyMNIFZTQkg

The sequel to this is “Last Day of War”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjJmTeBSEzU
